Put the
ncore_vehicle_inspectionfolder intoresources/[ncore](create the[ncore]folder if you do not have one yet). -
Optional: import
sql/ncore_vehicle_inspection.sql. With oxmysql running the tables are also created automatically on the first start. -
Add these lines to
server.cfg:server.cfgset onesync on ensure oxmysql ensure ncore_vehicle_inspectionLeave out
ensure oxmysqlif you do not use it; data is then saved as JSON in thedatafolder. If you use it, oxmysql has to start before this resource, otherwise it falls back to JSON. -
Set the mechanic and police job names and grades in
config/config.lua(Config.Permissions), or grant the ACE permissions. For example:server.cfgadd_ace group.admin ncore_vehicle_inspection.admin allow add_ace group.mechanic ncore_vehicle_inspection.mechanic allow add_ace group.police ncore_vehicle_inspection.police allow add_principal identifier.license:YOUR_LICENSE group.mechanic -
Restart the server. The console prints the framework (
server bridge: framework=...), the storage (persistence: oxmysqlorpersistence: JSON files) and the language. -
Test it: spawn a damaged car with
/vdemo(admin, mechanic or police), then try/vinspecton it, and/vdiagas a mechanic. With the admin ACE,/vrole mechanic,/vrole policeand/vrole civilswitch your role for this resource.
Updating#
Every update is listed in CHANGELOG.md. Keep a copy of your config and locales files before you replace the folder, and put your changes back after. Without oxmysql, also back up the data folder, it holds the certificates, reports and baselines.
Important#
- Required: OneSync.
- Detected automatically: ESX, QBCore, QBox,
oxmysql. - Keep
Config.Dev.Enabled = falseon a live server. - No baselines for the handling tamper check ship. Until you add them or turn on learning, every model reads as unknown. See the FAQ in
README.md.
Debug logging is Config.Debug in config/config.lua. You can also turn it on from server.cfg without touching the config. The convar wins over the config value:
setr ncore_vehicle_inspection:debug true
